Child Advocates CASA of Archer, Clay, Montague and Wichita Counties (formerly The Wichita Foundation for Children's Services), is a non-profit, tax exempt charitable corporation, according to the specifications set forth by Section 501 (a) of the Internal Revenue Code regarding organizations described in Section 501 (c)(3). Child Advocates, further attests that the corporation is a charitable organization of the type specified in Section 509 (a)(1), in that the corporation is not a private foundation and primarily receives donations, contributions, and grants as its main source of income. Donations are usually eligible to be a tax deduction, but other qualifications must also be met by the individual.
