February 28, 2008- Ten new CASA Volunteers

On Monday, February 28, 2008 ten new Court Appointed Special Advocates were sworn in by Judge Sparkman. The ten new volunteers include: Todd, Beverly, Lori, Tamara, Connie, Kathy, Margie, Jill, Judy and Erika (not pictured).

Our ten new volunteers took an oath on Thursday to protect the best interests of abused and neglected children in our area. They will each be assigned to a case allowing them to "Be the Difference" for a child over the coarse of the next year.

We are thrilled to have so many new volunteers to work with our children. Thanks to this group of ten volunteers and the volunteers that started training on February 25th, Child Advocates is proud to announce that we have exceeded our goal of recruiting 40 volunteers by March 1st.
