April 1, 2008- Nine new CASA Volunteers

On Tuesday, April 1, 2008 nine new Court Appointed Special Advocates were sworn in by Judge Price. The nine new volunteers include: Reuben, Kurt, Jennifer, Tricia, Alice, Debra, Cathy, Jason, and Linda (not pictured).

Our new volunteers took an oath on Tuesday during our annual Light of Hope ceremony. The theme of the event was the Power of One, so it was very touching to see the recent graduates commiting their time and talents to be that 'one' individual for the children in our area.

Thanks to this group of volunteers, we have officially exceeded our goal of recruiting 40 volunteers by March 1st. Thank you Reuben, Kurt, Jennifer, Tricia, Alice, Debra, Cathy, Jason, and Linda for your commitment to our children!
