Debbie, November 2007 Volunteer of the Month

Congratulations Debbie! Debbie is our November volunteer of the month. Debbie has been a CASA since April 2007. Her case supervisor, Valarie Vela, said, "Debbie has been on a case since April 2007. She is excellent with documentation and very thorough. She sees the child more than once a month to build a strong relationship with the child. She stays very involved with her case, keeping up with his placement, CPS, and visitation. She is very committed to her case."

Her hobbies consist of travel, decorating and photography. Previously Debbie was a mentor and a special education aide. She heard about Child Advocates through a friend. Debbie decided to volunteer because she had worked with children before and she felt God was calling for her to be a CASA.
